Buy vitamin K2: 200 µg MK-7 all-trans, pure or with D3
Every product with vitamin K2, side by side: the pure K2 tablet with 200 µg menaquinone-7 and ten combinations in which the same 200 µg K2 come together with vitamin D3 in strengths from 4,000 to 20,000 IU.
So what differs is less the K2 than the rest of the tablet: whether vitamin D3 is included, in what amount, and at what rhythm the recommended intake schedules it — daily for pure K2, every 10 or 20 days for the depot combinations.
What lies behind “MK-7” and “all-trans”, and how to spot the declaration on the label, is explained in the guide on the form.

Price per day as stated in the recommended intake on each product page: one tablet daily, every 5, 10 or 20 days for the depot combinations. The nutrient reference value (NRV) for vitamin K is 75 µg; 200 µg corresponds to 267%. Price per day is rounded. All prices incl. VAT, plus shipping.
How to take it: timing and amount
For vitamin K these two claims are authorised — they apply to every product on this page:
Vitamin K contributes to normal blood clotting.
Vitamin K contributes to the maintenance of normal bones.
Authorised claims pursuant to Regulation (EU) No 432/2012.
Vitamin K2 is fat-soluble; the recommended intakes name taking it with a meal. No particular time of day is established. MK-7 has a markedly longer half-life than MK-4, so with MK-7 one intake a day is enough — or, in the depot combinations, the interval from the recommended intake.
Anyone taking anticoagulant medicines should seek medical advice before use: vitamin K contributes to normal blood clotting and can affect the action of vitamin K antagonists.
What counts is always the recommended intake on the pack itself. The stated recommended daily intake must not be exceeded. Food supplements are not a substitute for a balanced and varied diet and a healthy lifestyle.
How to take vitamin K2: timing, fat, combinationsFrequently asked questions about vitamin K2
What does vitamin K2 do?
Exactly two claims are authorised: vitamin K contributes to normal blood clotting and to the maintenance of normal bones. Everything beyond that — blood vessels, heart, “calcium to the right place” — is not an authorised claim and therefore does not appear here. What the evidence actually supports on these points is in the magazine.
Vitamin K2 daily requirement: which number appliesDoes vitamin K2 have side effects — can you overdose on it?
EFSA has not set a tolerable upper intake level for vitamin K, because no harmful effects are known from food or from supplements. The one exception is vitamin K antagonists: anyone taking such medicines needs medical advice before use.
Vitamin K2 overdose: what you should knowWhat does MK-7 all-trans mean?
MK-7 is menaquinone-7, the form of vitamin K2 with the longest half-life. “All-trans” denotes the spatial form of the molecule that the body uses; the cis fraction is inactive. A label that states the all-trans share therefore says more than the bare microgram figure.
Vitamin K2 MK-7 all-trans: what the label saysVitamin K1 or K2 — what is the difference?
K1 (phylloquinone) occurs above all in green leafy vegetables; K2 (menaquinones) is formed by bacteria, for instance in natto or cheese. The authorised claims apply to vitamin K as a whole. Differences in uptake and retention time are explained in the guide.
Vitamin K1 vs K2: difference in origin and uptakeVitamin K2 and blood thinners such as Marcumar or Eliquis?
With vitamin K antagonists (Phenprocoumon, Warfarin) vitamin K is the direct counterpart — here consulting a doctor is mandatory. For the newer anticoagulants (such as Apixaban) this mechanism does not apply, but the question still belongs with the treating practice, not with a category page.
Vitamin K2 interactions: medicines and nutrientsPure or with vitamin D3?
Anyone already taking vitamin D3, or wanting to dose it separately, goes for the pure K2 tablet. The combinations are for those who take both anyway and want just one tablet; vitamin D3 and K2 each carry their own authorised claims.
